Physical Activity in Cancer Survivors

Studies show that physical activity has many beneficial effects on cancer survivors. However, there is a serious decrease in the physical activity of children who have survived cancer.

Evidence shows that physical inactivity is a risk factor for noncommunicable diseases such as cardiovascular disease, hypertension, obesity, diabetes, and cancer while exacerbating adverse late effects from cancer. The randomized controlled trials or controlled clinical trials examined those aged 18 and younger who survived cancer, how they should get out of their usual routine, create behavioral changes and follow a strategy to increase their physical activity.
